The Departments of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (PLM) and Enterprise Information Services (EIS) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is inviting applications for an academically oriented, board-certified, or board-eligible Anatomic or Clinical Pathologist with an MD or equivalent degree. Dual AP/CP board certification is a plus. Applicants must have, a) experience in pathology and clinical informatics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as applied to digital pathology research or practice; b) formal Informatics training at the fellowship or equivalent level; and c) be eligible for a California medical license. The incumbent may be expected to participate in clinical service and have significant effort dedicated to institutional informatics services and initiatives. The successful candidate will also support trainee and faculty development in informatics through collaboration and teaching.

With its 57 faculty, the Department oversees a clinical operation of over approximately 5 million laboratory tests, including 60,000 surgical cases and more than 1200 (and growing) tumor NGS cases, with robust outreach and consultative referral practices. All faculty participate in teaching residents, fellows, and students and engage in scholarship, including basic, translational, and/or clinical research.
Eligibility for an academic appointment in the Cedars-Sinai Health System Professorial Program is required.
